Eichten Altbier
A darker Altbier that is on the malty and sweeter side. It is being brewed for easier consumption but still have a decent gravity
Yield: 6 Gallons Original Gravity: 1.049
IBU: 28 Final Gravity: 1.012
Color:     ABV: 4.9%

Instructions:
I toasted the Munich grains on this recipe just for fun and to see what happens. They were soaked for 1 hr and baked for 1 hr at 350F(smelled great). They were put in the fridge right after to cool. And then left in a brown bag for a week. All the grains steeped 30 min at 155F. For the hops I wanted Noble hops and them to add bittering and only a little aroma. I wanted the smell to be dominated by the malt. So 1 oz of Hallertau and .75 oz of Tettnanger boiled 60 min and then the final .25oz of Tettnanger with 15 min.
