I really enjoy aerating the wort prior to fermentation using an airstone, but this creates one problem which I cannot resolve...excessive foaming to the point where it is overflowing my 6 gallon bucket (5 gallon batch). I aerate for about 30 minutes. Is this too long? Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
