What is the difference between using Liquid Malt Extract vs. Dry Malt Extract? And is using 1 pound of Liquid the same as using 1 pound of dry?

Recks,

Glad to hear from you again. By the way, this is explained in greater depth on the DVD during the brewing process.

1lb powder = 1.2lbs liquid

Regards,
Scott

Thanks Scott, we just finished re-locating, and it seems like the sellers out here really push the DME, and I was a little questionable about it. And I've been sitting on the DVD for a while now, waiting for an opportunity to watch it. Looks like this is a perfect time. Just curious, but does anyone out there prefer DME over LME or vise versa for any reason? I'll let you guys know how it turns out after this batch is done also.
